GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: FLSA:  Hourly  GRADE: 21   

Supports District schools and principals in their effort to foster an optimal educational environment for students. To assist the teacher, supervisor and/or aide in caring for the children and maintaining the physical environment of the school facility.

 

MAJOR TASKS:

  • Assist in setting up light and sound systems to accommodate renters’ requirements.
  • Be familiar with the leasing agreement regulations and report any infringements to Head Technician or Fine Arts Center Business Manager
  • Assist in monitoring use of the building and report any concerns to Head Technician or Fine Arts Center Business Manager.
  • Assist in secure building at end of day: lock up, turn off lights, shut down light and soundboards, make sure renters have removed all their belongings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School student in good standing.
  • Some experience with children preferred; especially Child Development classes.
  • Exhibit flexibility, creativity, and willingness to learn.
