GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: FLSA:  Hourly  

Supports District schools and principals in their effort to foster an optimal educational environment for students. To assist Kid’s Club staff in providing quality homework assistance during Kid’s Club hours

 

MAJOR TASKS:

  • Assists Students on Homework Assignments.
  • Keeping students on task and properly behaved during Homework Club.
  • Pick up and drop off of children signed in to Homework Club.
  • Keeping assigned room or space on campus clean and orderly.
  • Making sure materials such as pencils, papers etc. are available for students.
  • Dialoguing with other Teachers and Staff on campus if child needs extra assistance.
  • Letting Kid’s Club Manager know of any details that need to be expressed to the parents.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Teacher at Elementary Campus preferred.
  • Other qualified staff on campus if recommended by Principal.
  • Knowledge of subject matter and elementary homework
  • Classroom Management skills a must

At least once annually by the ECS Coordinator/Program Manager in accordance with the Policy of the Governing Board.
