GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:  FLSA:  Hourly  

Provide clerical support to the school psychologists.

 

MAJOR TASKS:

  • Receive and place necessary phone calls, including voicemail, and take accurate messages for building level ESS Teams.

  • Maintain the ESS building level calendar and assist in coordinating due dates

  • Maintain a filing system that manages all necessary paperwork including student files 

  • Assist in all special education student paperwork collection

  • Maintain due date list of paperwork due to ESS Department

  • Maintain the building conference room calendar

  • Schedule meetings for special education building teams and confirmation of required members attending

  • Completion of the Meeting Notice in eIEP Pro

  • Perform other job related duties, as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School graduate or equivalent

  • Knowledge of Special Education Disabilities

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills

  • Good computer skills, experience with MS Office Suite and the Internet

  • Familiarity with office equipment including copiers and fax machines.
  • Ability to assess a situation, determine remedy, and follow up through resolution with minimal supervision
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexible, organized, and able to do detailed work
  • Expert knowledge in research based instructional strategies and ability to implement them effectively.
