GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: :       FSLA:    Hourly   

Supports District schools and principals in their effort to foster an optimal educational environment for students.  Deliver mail and materials to school locations, facilities and governmental offices.

 

MAJOR TASKS:

  • Deliver mail and materials to 7 school locations.
  • Deliver Governing Board meeting materials to Governing Board Members.
  • Pick-up mail and materials at school locations as needed.
  • Make courier run down-town Phoenix one day a week to Governmental Offices, County Treasurer and County Schools.
  • Pick up and drop off mail at U.S. Post Office.
  • Assist in warehouse, as time permits.
  • Maintain fluid and gas levels in mail truck.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent.
  • Physically capable of performing the assigned work, which may include lifting cartons and furniture over 100lbs., and be able to operate some heavy equipment (i.e. forklift and pallet jack).
  • Ability to drive a 16,000 pound delivery vehicle.
  • Have an appropriate AZ Driver’s License and maintain a clear driving record.
