GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:     

   

Supports District schools and principals in their effort to foster an optimal educational environment for students.  Provides support to the Preschool and Child Care Coordinator.

   

 

 

MAJOR TASKS:

  • Greets public and answers questions regarding all of the programs run by ECS and presents a friendly, helpful attitude to people seeking information.
  • Supports Preschool and Childcare Coordinator by covering for absences.
  • Creates DHS files for Preschool and Child Care programs.
  • Supports ECS Coordinator with yearlong program and operations.
  • Maintains ECS Program files.
  • Confirms Preschool and Child Care and Summer student enrollment weekly.
  • Assists with Preschool and Child Care student registration and Eleyo process.
  • Creates rosters and provides them to teachers/supervisors and assistants.
  • Updates Preschool and Child care parent/student handbook.
  • Assists with Preschool and Child Care website.
  • Assists with Eleyo program schedules and operations.
  • Supports the Coordinator in facilitation of Professional Development days.
  • Attends trainings, conferences, networking and continuing education for personal growth.
  • Attends district required professional development.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience in bookkeeping procedures and computer programs, knowledge of current office practices, procedures and operation of office equipment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to multi-task; good organizational skills.
  • Able to accommodate a flexible schedule.
