GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: FLSA: Hourly  

Supports District schools and principals in their effort to foster an optimal educational environment for students. Assists the Directors of Teaching and Learning with all student data needs including importing and exporting of student, teacher, and school level data to and from assessment and curricular software. Organize student and teacher data for communication with school sites, administration and staff.

 

MAJOR TASKS:

    • Imports:       Work with the Director of Academic Services and Assessment and Instructional Technology to import student rosters and staff files for the following programs:
      • AIMSWeb
      • MyAcess
      • School City
      • AZELLA (Pearson)
      • AzMERIT and AIMS Science
    • Run reports after assessments
      • AIMSWeb
      • MyAcess
      • School City
      • ACTFL Assessment of Performance Towards Proficiency in Languages (AAPPL)
    • Organize AIMSWeb, MyAccess, and School City data in easy-to-read excel and PDF documents to share with the Director of Academic Services and Assessment, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and Principals for use at the schools RTI team meetings and staff developments.
    • Assist the Director of Academic Services and Assessment with organizing AzMERIT and AIMS results for dissemination to District Administration and staff.
  • Assist the Director of Instructional Technology with online textbook/resources, ensuring teacher/student uploads.
  • Complete other related duties and tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
    • Ability to type/data entry accurately.
        • Able to operate computers, copying machines, FAX machines, and a multi-line telephone system.
            • Be familiar with the office procedures and etiquette of telephone response.
                • Demonstrate effective filing and records maintenance.
                • Familiar with general office practices and procedures.
                • Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills.
                • Organized with the ability to perform detailed work.

Physically capable of performing the assigned work, which may include lifting cartons up to 40 lbs.
