GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: FLSA: Hourly GRADE: 15
Supports District schools and principals in their effort to foster an optimal educational environment for students. Assists in the supervision of the daily activities of the Roadrunner Club Program at the school where the program is located.
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Supervises children during play activities meeting their needs for attention, guidance, and safety.
- Provides all children with creative, challenging activities and the older children with study time.
- Maintains an interpersonal environment that:
• provides warmth and affection to all children equally
• fosters self-esteem, respect for others and independence
• provides for individual differences and abilities
• establishes good communication with parents
- Maintains daily enrollment records and keeps on file enrollment and emergency forms.
- Maintains tuition records and collections, which will be overseen by the Supervisor.
- Maintains the physical environment of the Roadrunner Club room and play area.
- Stays with any child not picked up on time, calling parents or emergency pick-up person.
- Leaves center cleaned, materials put away, and rooms locked.
- Participates in self and school evaluations.
- Reports to the Roadrunner Club Supervisor, ECS Coordinator, and on-site Principal.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School graduate, higher education preferred.
- Experience with working with large groups of children of various ages.
- Exhibit flexibility, creativity, and willingness to learn.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, and lift or position students pre-school to adult. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
