GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports District schools and principals in their effort to foster an optimal educational environment for students. Develops a thorough knowledge of all facets of Education & Community Services and its programs. To assist in managing various Education and Community Services programs. To assist the Manager of Education & Community Services in various aspects of the Community Education Department.
MAJOR TASKS:
- Greets public and answers questions regarding all of the programs run by ECS and presents a friendly, helpful attitude to people seeking information.
- Assists the ECS Manager with all program requirements.
- Maintains all files related to ECS programs.
- Maintains equipment service agreements and maintenance.
- Completes ePars for Education & Community Services employees per District Office requirements,
- From ECS coordinators and consults with director/business manager in the development of ECS budget receives input.
- Prepares and maintains all PO requests for ECS.
- Assists with the other business office tasks when required.
- Assists with Eleyo registration and billing operations.
- Assists with program registration when necessary.
- Is familiar with all Arizona Department of Health Services regulations with respect to preschool and school age childcare facilities and processes.
- Assists and processes Arizona Department of Health licensing regulations and licensing agreements for all ECS Project areas.
- Processes all paperwork for annual Department of Health Services inspections of all licensed sites.
- Organizes and maintains all ECS Project files.
- Serves as liaison between ECS and the community.
- Assists in distributing publicity for all programs.
- Attends trainings, conferences, networking and continuing education for personal growth.
- Attends district required professional development.
- Provides other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience in computer operation.
- Demonstrates knowledge of current office practices and procedures; operation of office equipment.
- Possesses a professional, friendly, phone manner.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and excellent organizational skills.
